The project comprises a government building and an official reception facility within the Y. M. Palace complex in Riyadh. Located on a 5-hectare site in a district reserved for members of the administration, the building is surrounded by structures from different periods and of varied architectural styles.

Architecture C was selected to design the architecture of this royal project, representing a total surface area of approximately 27,000 sqm.

The project is conceived as an embodiment of the 21st century through its architecture. The exterior envelope, inspired by rock formations, rests on glass walls that flood the interiors with light. Like an oasis, the patio contrasts with the exterior by incorporating elements of Islamic art.

A strong bioclimatic approach underpins the design, aiming to minimize environmental impact through both passive and active strategies: shading, Venturi effect, double-skin façade, water management, as well as the integration of solar panels, wind turbines and energy-harvesting pavements.

The building is envisioned as both a landmark and a place of architectural education for future generations.
